Emily Wallace

I grew up in the Philippines, the youngest of nine. I learned early the values of resilience, resourcefulness, and community. Those roots still shape how I write, make, and teach.

A warm, practical companion for Filipinas who have crossed an ocean for love — and are still learning how to keep their soul intact while building a steady, dignified life in America. This site — Tita Em — is the home for that work: books, handmade goods, and wilderness first aid.

I also work with my hands — leather, metal, painting, and small-batch organic wellness products — and I teach Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder. The through-line is the same: keep your people safe, keep your dignity, keep going.
