Journal

Everyday writing

I write a lot. Happy thoughts and sad ones. It is how I put the day down so it does not have to live in my throat, or in a conversation I would later regret.

Writing lets me feel what I feel without handing the whole weight to the people I love. On the page I can look at a thought, turn it over, and decide what is true, not just what is loud. Stress loosens. Perspective comes back.

This is also a way to cope. You do not need to be a writer to write. If you can tell a friend what happened, you can put it on paper. A few honest sentences are enough. Everyone has that capacity. This journal is mine. I hope it reminds you that you already have yours.
